Inspiration Monday

I hope everyone had a great weekend.
Saturday here was just miserable, so husband and I had a Netflix marathon day.
Luckily on Sunday the sun came up and it was beautiful outside.

Today over on Two Birds our inspiration is Elizabeth Olsen.
I am curious as to why she is never photographed with MK and Ashley??

I busted out my leopard print skirt
which I haven't worn in quite awhile
and paired it with my motorcycle jacket.
I knew I wouldn't be wearing my jacket all day,
so I added a pop of color underneath.
You know me~I have to have color.
As you can see, I didn't stop with the red sweater,
I added a deep eggplant cami under that.
If you are going to add color just go for it!
Basically I had 3 different looks with this outfit
depending on the time of day you saw me.
I love an outfit that can be that versatile.

Would you have added a pop of color to this outfit
 or
would you have stayed dark through and through?

moto jacket-JCPenny

A big yes to the pop of color! I really like how you can still see the red cardi peeking out from under the zipped jacket, and that you get a double dose of color without the jacket. It's a fun look with the leopard print skirt! :)

A big yes to the pop of color! Especially the red and purple together.

Mary Kate and Ashley dress horrible, so they don't want to get upstaged by their cute better dressed sister, LOL! Did you see that bag one of them had on at the Oscars after party? It was horrid. Heather

My weekend was an okay one. I worked on Saturday and was sick all day yesterday. I'm starting to get back to my normal self. Your outfit is so adorable.

So versatile and I do love that red! You're right about Elizabeth... maybe they just don't attend the same events? Although I remember reading an interview with her where she said she didn't want to get by on her sisters' fame.

Yeah, I prob would have worn a black top b/c I'm boring like that - kudos on the red! Love your jacket too, a motorcycle jacket is on my list!

I love the color you added to the outfit! Isn't it interesting how something like a leopard print can serve as a neutral and to with so many things? Love that. I'm curious. What did you and your hubs watch on netflix? Always looking for a new show since I have given up the news!

I'm in love, love, love with every single piece you're wearing! Animal prints seem very big again, and that's a good thing.
I have a red/purple combo for an upcoming VM ;-)

Your hair is so nice, how do you do it like that? Love your colourful version of the look! It felt very weird for me to be in all black and grey yesterday- I always like to have colour too!x

I went through a period of wearing purple and red together in high school. Loved it!

Watching movies is the best thing to do on a gross day.

Love your leopard skirt, the big print is so fun and I like it so much more than my small printed one.
