The (not so ) Classic Blazer

Today over on Everybody, Everywear it is classic blazer day.
I didn't have a "classic" blazer in my 30 for 30, but I did have my fabulous fur trimmed blazer I got on Cyber Monday.
I headed out to try and take some location pictures, unfortunately I could only do it during the height of the sun.
Not a great photographer anyway, but add the bright sun and well, you can see for yourself....

You can't really tell, but I am wearing my flare jeans.
I thought it gave the blazer look a fresh take.

We are having a beautiful day here today as you can clearly see from the pictures.
It was nice to be outside in the sunshine.

I decided to go very simple with the styling of this blazer.
The collar speaks for itself.
I was trying to show my spring green necklace in this picture,
but it just looks silver.
I really liked the spring green of the necklace contrasted
with the dark olive of the blazer.
You can also check out my green eye make-up.

Thanks to
  and
for putting together another fabulous
project

I love this blazer! I'm going to steel this if I ever make it out your way. So, if I do, you'd better hide it good!

I love the fur collar...such a great touch!

Yes I think the basic skirt project would be the perfect project for a beginning sewer. My mom used to teach sewing, and it was one of the first projects she taught...and this was with 8 year olds!

You look STUNNING in those photos! And I love how the fur collar and your hair sort of blend together - so luxurious looking.
