Have you un-decorated yet?
Have you started eating healthy and exercising again?
I usually start un-decorating the day after New Year's,
so I guess I better get busy huh?
Why is it always such a chore to un-decorate,
but so much fun to decorate?
Is anyone else trying to change their diet after
a month long food indulgence?
We just have to get through the first 3 days,
then it isn't so bad...right!
Oh, yea
I think it's the same 3 day rule for exercise as well.
I have to give outfit credit here to husband.
Pretty much everything I have on he gave me for Christmas.
He did good right.
Speaking of new clothes...
I have also decided to participate in the #2014closetremixchallenge.
That entails...no shopping, remixing my closet
and inspiring others on Instagram.
If you aren't already following me,
please do so to see how long I last on this challenge.
What are the things that constitute getting back to "real life" for you?
sweater/plaid shirt-J.Crew (Christmas gift from husband)
jeans-Gap
boots-Baretraps (Christmas gift from husband)
necklace-gifted
watch-Legion (Christmas gift from husband)

I am with you, Brett! I have a lot of work to do before I return to the classroom on Monday! I always get a little sad when I put Christmas away...it went too fast this year. You look awesome...love your mix of colors in this outfit!
Happy New Year Brett! By this time of year I am so ready to the holidays to be over and to get back into a healthy routine!
I started taking stuff down yesterday! So sad for it to go. Good luck with your challenge!

Yes, we have un-decorated; my youngest daughter's birthday is Jan 3rd so I like to have all the Christmas stuff put away so her special day isn't overshadowed.
I do feel like I need to get back to our usual routine and not be quite so indulgent, though I don't know how long that feeling will last... Lovely outfit, your husband chose very well, he's a clever man! xxx
I always put off undecorating as long as possible...I just love how pretty it all looks! Happy New Year, you look adorable!
Brett, I love you outfit and am totally impressed that hubby bought it for you! I am so sad when the decorations come down, I hope the lights last a bit longer in NY, the short days really need these bright lights.
happy 2014!

Back to reality and back to you looking great in layers. I love the Coral Pink with the Navy Plaid and your Necklace is stunning. =)
Your husband did very well indeed.
It's the 4th and I still haven't undecorated. Actually, I just wasn't that excited to decorate in the first place for some reason. I'm shooting for Tuesday, the day my kids go back to school and I finally get the house back to myself for a few hours. ;)
