It conjures up visions of Paul Bunyan and Luke Danes right?
Well, I am here to tell you that it can be so much more.
You can go from lumber jack to fashionista with
just a few accessories here and there.
I added a black vest,
but pretty much any vest will pump up the swank.
A scarf can go a long way in making any outfit a notch above ordinary and especially in this case.
I opted for brown boots for some variation and contrast.
And I can't say enough about gloves.
They can give any look a pop of glamour.
So yes, lumber jack chic is a thing
and you need to give it a try
if you haven't already!
Do you own a buffalo check item?
How did you style it?

Love the print of your top, so cute with the vest!
I love this outfit! So cozy and cute! I have been searching for a great buffalo plaid shirt but haven't found one yet. I will have to check out Old Navy!
No, I don't have any buffalo check. I need to get working on that! You look so warm and cute in this outfit. :)
I have seen a lot of buffalo check! I have a similar top! I love the way you put this outfit together! Looks great!

I have this top and have no clue how to style it! I love it with the cream scarf!! Thanks for the outfit inspiration!! Susan
You look so beautiful here...great outfit, hair...all the styling, perfect!
You'll have to translate for me, Brett - what is buffalo check? Is it just a big check? I'm so Non-Fashion, I don't know these things! Anyway, the shirt looks cool (love the colours), and the whole layered outfit looks really great. xx
