Awkward and Awesome Saturday

So I 100% just plain forgot to post yesterday!

I wish I could say I was off doing something

interesting and exotic...

But, no ~ I just simply forgot.

Awkward:

• When people make the mistake of thinking you are a male because of your name, not once, but 3 times in one week.
• When the person in front of you at yoga wears see through yoga pants.
• When you take some meat out of the freezer and discover the freezer bag somehow became unzipped.
• When you blacken fish for dinner and you can't get the fish smell out of your house for days.
• When the water receptacle of your Keurig leaks water all over the counter.

Awesome:

• When you get green lights all the way to your destination.
• Becoming a great Aunt.  Congrats to Emily and Josh and baby Luke!
• Meeting up with an old friend you haven't seen in over a year.
• New fall booties.
• Going to see Darius Rucker tonight!!!

I love mixing black and brown together. 

When you throw in some turquoise,

 it just adds that little extra something. 

 Tunics seem to be all over the place this summer. 

 They let you move freely and 
help you stay cool in the heat.  
They can easily be dressed up or down 

and of course...

They are forgiving for every body type! 

 I think we will see them quite a bit for fall as well.
