I have the BEST friends EVER!

I am blessed to have such a great group of friends!  These friends are also fabulous gift givers!  It's not even Christmas yet and I have already  received quite a number of superb gifts.  Hope husband and sons can live up to the friends. (big smile)

One of the gifts I received was the InStyle Magazine book, The New Secrets of Style. (thx J&L)  I finally got a chance to just flip through it a little bit and can't wait to sit down and really read it.  I want to share with you the quote in the front of the book because if you are reading this blog, this quote is speaking to YOU!

"The quest to nail down your personal style is like driving: Sometimes you know exactly where you're going, but other times you get totally lost along the way."

I think that sums up our passion for style and fashion blogging.  I don't know about you, but when I am driving and get lost, it usually turns out to be an adventure if I have friends in the car!  I love taking my fashion adventure with friends in the car!!

I finally get to wear my blue tights.  I remembered this skirt that I haven't worn in forever and they went together perfectly.  There is a tiny blue line the same color as the tights running through the skirt.

I have realized that I don't own very many skirts.  I need more skirts to show off great tights!!

A little blue jewelry to highlight the blue tights!

Joy and Peace to all my friends, new & old!

Those blue tights are great with the skirt. I've never ordered from WLC, but have visited their site, and I believe they have every color you could imagine! Found your blog through Southern Comfort....you have a new follower! ~Serene

I agree with Closet SHopper...YOU ALWAYS LOOK SO CUTE!!...the skirt is great BTW..you should wear it more often. I really like the quote in the front of the book..I spent most of my life driving on side roads that lead to nowhere..but now I seem to be driving toward a better destination..it just took 57 years..I guess I am a slow learner!!

Ha, I like the analogy to driving and getting lost! At least we ask for directions/advice.

This skirt is excellent and it looks great with the tights.

Thanks for all the comments about my little skirt that has been hiding in my closet for about 5 years. I just always forget about skirts.
Not anymore baby.... skirts and tights are about to be my new obsession!
