Turn Around Day

Tuesday was Turn Around Day at the Help Center Thrift Store where I volunteer.  What does that mean?  Basically we turn the store from a winter clothing store into a spring clothing store.
This was my first turn around day and I was amazed.  I walked into a giant empty store with only empty clothing racks and by the end of the day...a great looking store.
I knew I needed to wear something that I would not worry about getting dirty.
I also needed something easy to move in as I was up and down on ladders all day.
I thought this was a smart choice of clothing for the projects I needed to accomplish.
The pearl bib necklace gave me just a enough pizazz
so the outfit was a total snooze fest.
And the best part of the day...
first dibs on all the new spring clothing that we put out on the floor!

Oh by the way...is anyone else as obsessed with Adele's new CD?
Can't stop listening to it!

We had an Adele concert at work a while ago, but I missed it because I was on vacation.

I heard a clip of Adele on NPR. I made a note. She's new to me.

So, when do we get to see the items you found in the new inventory? It's great that you volunteer.

I haven't bought her new CD yet. I want to!

I'm still obsessing over her first one. Love her!

When I started reading your post I wondered if you got first shopping rights. That's awesome...volunteering with benefits!

I want a shirt like that! I've been on the hunt for awhile now. I'm determined to thrift one. I don't want to pay retail!!

You look cute, comfy and ready to work!

OMG. I love your blog. My name's Anna, I'm a stylist and visual merchandiser in LA. I'm 23 years old and moved to California after graduating back in south with a degree in visual merchandiser. I've worked with such designers as Max Azria, Nicole Richie, and my idol Rachel Zoe. I'd love if you visited my new blog for multiple posts a day on all things fashion. I'd love the support. I'm following you, I hope you'll do the same. Thanks so much.
