While I was wandering through the kitchen looking for something to eat I came across some very sad bananas, so I decided to make my delicious
Autumn Delight Cookies.
Here are the ingredients you will need:
3 ripe bananas (i only had two & it worked just fine)
3 cups rolled oats
1/3 cup applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla
3 small diced apples
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 cup wheatgerm
1/2 cup honey
First, mash your bananas...
Then add the oats, applesauce and vanilla.
It will look like this...
Next add the apples...
Then the cinnamon, nutmeg, wheatgerm and honey
Your mixture should look like this...
Next take a teaspoon or a cookie scoop (that is what i used) and drop onto a pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Cook at 325 degrees for about 14 minutes.
They will not spread, just become firm and golden on top.
The recipe makes about 36 cookies. These are super yummy and have lots of healthy ingredients in them. You could add nuts, raisins or substitute the apples with just about anything. Even chocolate chips. They run about 55 calories per cookie as shown.
If you have any bananas that are on their last leg this is a great way to use them. The recipe is ultra simple and the cookies are delish!
Have a great Wednesday.

Yum! Anything with apples in it is a winner in my book!
P.S. Loved your comment about between "noon and never" ha ha!

Some of my favorite ingredients and the dough looks great as well...I am on a diet and would love to have just one taste. I will save this recipe for end of diet.
Oh, yum!!! We have a men's cookie bake off at church and the categories are oatmeal, peanut butter and chocolate chip. Maybe we'll try making these!
Apples in cookies? Sold!
Okay, so this sounds ahhhhh-mazing.
I hate waiting for "the guy" to come. They never come on time, and then they do a somewhat crappy job so you have to call them back ... The cycle never ends, it seems.
