Thursday...already???
Where is the summer going?
Awkward:
- Having to wait at the doctor's office for the doctor because there was a fire drill at the hospital.
- Trying to cut a slice of watermelon and the slice sliding across the island onto a stool and landing on the floor. 3 second rule anyone?
- Getting money at the ATM and your card isn't sliding into the slot, looking up into the rear view window and seeing a line of cars behind you.
- A couple of days before my car accident I got caught in a storm and was stopped at a red light when the wind started blowing so hard that gum balls(the tree kind, not the chewing kind)and pine cones started bombing my car.
- People realizing that was my car turned-over on the sidewalk of my neighborhood and calling me to let me know they saw the wreck!
Awesome:
- A friend bringing me lunch and hanging out with me as I recuperated.
- Son2 and his cooking skills while I was down and out.
- Long Hot Bubble Baths
- Husband cleaning out son1's car for me to drive while he is out of town. (would have been in the awkward category if the car hadn't been cleaned out)
- Long weekend this weekend with husband in DC.
This is another PRE-wreck outfit.
I really haven't gotten very dressed up since then.
I will have to get back into the swing of things this weekend in DC.
Any great plans this weekend??

Love your polka dots!
I like the pants! Sorry about your accident, but I'm glad that you're okay.
You look great here. Love those classy sandals.
I can't help but wonder if being dive bombed by gumballs, etc...was some kind of warning of your coming accident. ;)
I LOVE this outfit!! The polka dots are adorable.
Great top. Polka dots are always fashionable.
Brett, you look adorable and I'm glad you are being pampered a little as you recover. The bubble bath sounds perfect!
