Awkward and Awesome Thusday

Quiet week around here and kind of boring to tell the truth.

Still getting used to being the only one in the house when husband is traveling.

 Awkward:

• Spraying my hair with what I thought was dry shampoo, turns out it was hairspray.
• Opening the front door and being face to face with a deer.  She was literally 2 feet in front of me.  We just stared each other down and then she took off.  I live in the suburbs for heaven sake.
• My friend mistakenly being stopped in Target to be asked for help by someone.  They thought she worked there because she had on red jeans.  I have never seen anyone that works in Target dressed as cute as my friend.
• Having to "let someone go".  
• Returning an item that was in the wrong box and trying to explain that that was the box it came in.

 Awesome:

• Finally getting to book 4 in the Game of Thrones series.
• Watching neighborhood boys have a push-up contest in the middle of the driveway.
• Husband bringing me back a "souvenir" from his business trip.  (he rarely does that)
• Dinner out with good friends. (like a double date)
• Finding unused gift cards in an old purse.

 I wore this out last weekend on my "double-date". 

 Can't really get a good feel for the dress with these blurry iPhone pics. 

 It is much cuter in person! 

 I added red accessories for a pop of color.
