I am back from my Palm Springs adventure and enjoying the nice cold snap this morning after the crazy heat on my trip?
Today's inspiration over on
is being worn by one of my favorite fashion girls...Rachel Bilson.
I love this casual look for fall and was excited to try it out.
Lucky for me I had all the right pieces in my closet,
but I don't know that I would have put them all together if not for this challenge.
My denim blazer may be a bit more spring than fall,
but you gotta work with what you have right!?
I decided to layer the goldish sweater with this great sequined trimmed tank
to get the layered effect that Rachel is sporting.
I grabbed my go to vintage Coach cross body bag
and
my new booties that might just get worn out before Thanksgiving.
So happy that it is finally blazer and jacket weather!

I don't really wear jeans, having yet to find a pair which either fit or flatter, but you look great in yours! Love the ankle boots too. xxx

You've got this look spot on. I'm loving all the boots I'm seeing for this inspiration, I may have to invest in something similar, I had to go with knee high boots in the end.
