Today marks my 1000 post since I began blogging 4 years ago.
When I began, I had no expectations that anyone would even read my blog,
let alone follow it.
I have been in awe by your readership
and kindness through out the years I have been blogging.
What you don't know is just how important this blog became to me 2 years ago
when a life changing diagnosis was made in my immediate family.
I won't go into it,
because frankly it's not my story to tell.
My story is that as the main care taker and support of this person
sometimes it's hard to want to get up and get dressed,
let alone dress like I care.
That's the point.
It matters a great deal to be able to get up and CARE!!
It can literally change how you view the day.
Don't let your circumstances define who you are,
you define who you are yourself.
I am thankful for this blog, my readers and all of my Instagram friends.
You all have encouraged me to take care of myself, not fall into a pit of yoga and sweatpants
and to learn to appreciate the things I do have.
Fashion and Fashion blogging may be looked on as frivolous by some,
but for me...
it is an expression of creativity, hope, joy and beauty.
Things we all need in our life, no matter what our situation might be.
So thank you all for reading my blog
and being a huge support
even when you didn't even know you were!

I'm so excited for you!!!! You do an awesome job. :) I love your style choices... you definitely inspire me! And isn't it just to cool for school that we got back in touch with each other through blogging after first meeting at Lexington Elementary School a gazillion years ago? xoxoxoxoxo
Congrats! I love that top with the coat!
What a fantastic achievement!
I entirely understand how an event in your life as you describe can change everything. Everything! Love your strength!
An awesome milestone indeed.
I can completely relate to your feelings about being a caregiver, been there...one of the most stressful times I've ever been through. Hang in there and yes, do keep taking care of yourself and looking great. It is SO important.
