Too Lazy to Iron

You know those days when you pick something to wear and you think... I really should run an iron over this.  Then you think to yourself...well, it really isn't that bad.  You ditch ironing the item and just pretend it looks okay, or that maybe people will think you have just been up for a while and your item got wrinkled or something.

Today I found out that, NO it doesn't look okay and that people probably aren't thinking ,"oh she must have been up really early for her clothes to  have that worn in look already".  No, the clothes just look wrinkled!

I will confess to doing that just this morning with the plaid shirt.  I did actually turn on the iron, but then just got lazy.  No more of that.  Every time I saw myself in a mirror today, I thought... why didn't you just iron that shirt!

My Lovely Wrinkled Assemble
Today was actually a cold day here in Charlotte.  I decided to do a casual layered look.
No that is not a newly acquired scar across my face.  Just some windblown hair.
I need a nap.  Husband kept me up all night with his terrible cough.  NyQuil to the rescue tonight!

Ok, I don't think it looks that bad, myself. I hate to iron. I do it every day, but I hate it. I even did a post about it last month:

I think the outfit is great, casual and comfy!

Hey!! I hope your holidays were wonderful!!! I am just now trying to get everything back in order and let me tell you that does NOT include ironing!! HAHA!!
Your outfit does look wonderful thought despite the non ironing. I find that all my plaid shirts look un ironed even when I do iron them! I hope you get some sleep tonight!

I cannot see a single wrinkle! but your headline brought some of my own ironing habits to mind: sometimes, I will press only sleeves and collar and plan to cover the rest with a vest or a sweater. :)

I wouldn't have noticed the wrinkles if you hadn't said anything. Very cute!

I am ALWAYS too lazy to iron! It's quite possibly my least favorite thing in the entire world! I have too many cute things I wistfully look at in my closet every morning only to push aside because of my ironing aversion. It's terrible, but true. That's why I asked Santa for a steamer for Christmas ;)

I think it looks fine! I never iron...most of my stuff is hung up in my closet, so I think they stay relatively wrinkle-free that way. Love the shirt; I love plaid.

Hope your husband gets better soon...man, do I hate cold/flu season!
