11 in 2011, Day 11: What are you looking forward to the most in 2011

So this is the last day of our 11 in 2011.
I have really enjoyed participating in this fun project
Thanks again to  teaching in heels for hosting!

I think the thing I am most looking forward to in 2011 in going to CMA Fan Fest in July.  My friend C. and I have been wanting to do this for about 4 years.  Finally, we are getting our chance this year!

5 days of music, fun, celebrity and who knows what else.
I have heard that it is extremely hot at this event, so I know I will be panicking on what to pack.
I don't want to look like the aged and crazed Country Music fan, but I don't want to die of heat stroke either.

I will try my best to blog while I am there and hopefully get some fabulous pictures

What are you looking forward to the most in 2011?

Well, yesterday we totally got hit by the snowstorm.  It was very pretty and came down for quite a long time.
Don't laugh, but son2 and I had a Toy Story marathon.  Yes, we watched all 3 movies in a row!!
Needless to say we didn't bother to get dressed, just barely made it to the kitchen for food every now and then.

Last night we got freezing rain and sleet over top of the snow.  It is like walking on glass now.  No school again today for the kiddos, but I decided I needed to get up and get dressed!!  Maybe I can accomplish something productive today!

Seriously, it was so icy outside that my tripod just kept slipping.  I have a lot of pictures of white nothingness.

Just becasue I am holding the snow-shovel doesn't mean I know how to use it!!
I felt really strongly about wearing this light pink sweater today.  Something about it up against all the white is just so fairytale like.
Hope you have a great day today, whether you are snowed in, at work or actually using your snow shovel to clear your driveway.

There is something so magical about waking up in the morning with a fresh coat of snow on the ground! I love your sweater - you're right, it is fairytale-like against the snow...the color is absolutely lovely and looks beautiful with your earrings. I need to get some more nice winter sweaters for my closet!

You look so cute in your pink sweater! I never look that cute in the snow!

I have to get out this house. I have to go to work tomorrow or something. I have cabin fever!

I love your whole outfit. This year I am seeing more pink that I like. I never wore it before so I have none. Got to change that. And after the first 11 days of the year I am looking forward to 50 degrees and sun.

Love the pink--sort of reminds me of the 50's housewives dressed to the nines while cooking dinner! Lol--you look great! Paula

You look so "pretty in pink"! The tie on the side makes it look vintage. I need to go out and shovel snow but won't wear a cute outfit. More like lots of uninspired layers...
