11 in 2011, Day 7: Favorite Memory of 2010

There are so many to choose from.

Of course there is the obvious, son1 graduating from high school and starting college. Really that is kind of bitter-sweet though.

I think I will have to go with visiting Seattle,Washington for the first time.

Neither husband nor I had ever been there and truthfully, I didn't really know what to expect. We went in May, so I had no idea what the weather would be like.

I immediately fell in love with the city. Just ask my friends. I was either emailing or texting them about it the entire time I was there. Miraculously we didn't have any rain. It was much colder than I packed for, but I compensated by layer things one would never think to layer. LOL (there could be a  blog challenge in this)

The city is so beautiful and full of life. The shopping is fabulous and I loved that I could walk pretty much anywhere I wanted to go.

Husband and I loved our trip to Seattle so much, we brought son1 and son2 back to visit in July!

Thanks to teaching in heels for sponsoring this challenge

Yes, I love Seattle too. The weather, the temps, the fresh seafood! How's your elbow today?

I too fell in love with Seattle- with the entire north pacific area. Did you notice they seem to have the biggest and tastiest fruit!! Apples so fresh! We've vacationed in that area two year in a row. Oregon Coast is stunning.

My husband loves Seattle...I unfortunately have not been there, but it looks so fun. I would have trouble nailing my favorite 2010 moment! I will have to give that some thought!

I have always wanted to go there but haven't yet. My husband did a lot of touring in bands and has been there a bunch. He says I'd love it. We are going to have to make this happen now, I think.

I have that same top you are wearing in the bottom right photo! Mine is a giraffe print. I wore it OUT during the summer.

I haven't been to Seattle, but I hear how lovely it is.
