11 in 2011, Day 9:Favorite Thing To Do On A Cold Winter Day

I have two favorite things to do on a cold winter's day.
I put on my warmest and softest sweats
  and
either curl up with a good book and a hot cup of tea
 OR
curl up with a good movie and some popcorn!

Pretty lazy I know,
but when you live in a climate that is not super cold all the time,
the cold just makes you want to
stay inside, stay warm and veg!

Speaking of cold...
we are supposed to have a big winter storm roll
through tonight with a prediction of snow.

Maybe I'll get to do both of my favorite cold winter's day things tomorrow!

Stay warm!! I am wearing and doing about the same thing. Nothing like warm clothes, a hot drink and a good book. Especially if the power doesn't go out.

I think you guys are getting all the snow we are supposed to be having. When we have days like this, we start with the movies and popcorn, then devolve to the books and coffee, or in DH's case, beer.

Either option sounds like a blast to me! The snow is supposed to start here later tonight... here's hoping tomorrow looks exactly like you described.

We get WAyyyy too much snow here, so after the first 100 snow storms, the urge to curl up and watch tv or read a good book INSIDE again wears off.
But enjoy it--dont listen to a crusty ole new englander! paula

Those are both most excellent ways to chill on a cold day!

Oh these are definitely my favorite things to do too! This morning when I saw the snow that had fallen last night, I put on my sweats and made myself a cup of hot cocoa right away! Although with the sun out it made me feel a bit guilty so I finally motivated myself to throw on some "real clothes". :)
