Stop By For A Little Whine!

Okay, girlfriends, I  just need to vent today and if you can't vent to your girlfriends... who can you vent to?
It has been one of those weeks.
I tell you if it hadn't been for my birthday lunch and the fun swap, I would be headed for the alcohol isle at the nearest liquor store.
Have you had one of those weeks lately??
Where just tiny little things keep piling up and then there are the bigger things that pile up on top of those and then there are the~ are you kidding me things like....
  • Husband and I have been in "intense fellowship" all week about a matter that will likely never be resolved because we are on polar opposites ends on the subject.
  • The dog's incontinence is getting worse, so many ramifications with that one it makes my head spin.
  • My inspection sticker expired, how are you supposed to keep up with it now that there is no sticker in the window??
  • Tripod broke (fashion blogger nightmare! :))
  • My hormones have staged a revolt and back into my 2nd week of yoga  after my stupid elbow injury, my body has turned into that of the tin man's :only I don't seem to have an oil can that has the right brand of oil
Shall I go on, or just get to the straw that broke the camel's back???

Here is the proverbial straw....yesterday my iPhone fell into the toilet.  Clean toilet, thank goodness, but full of water none the less.
Who knew my life was so tied up in that phone!!  I am jonesing in a bad way.
It is buried in a bowl of rice as I type and I am praying that it will work by the end of the day today.

Thanks for letting me get all of that off of my chest!  I feel better now.
I am laying low today and hoping that by doing that trouble cannot find me.

Tell me something wonderful in the comment section!
I need to be spirited out of this funk!
Thought some lovely royal purple and the lavender would cheer me up.

Oh here's something to cheer me up ~ did you notice the white watch?
No, I never did find the one I lost,
but son1 and son2 gave me a new one for Christmas

Here's a little song for the day

OK beautiful lady. I have a couple of suggestions. First, try not to worry about what can't be fixed(husband, dog). Second, hot, or warm bath with epsom salts for oil can. Third, it may take 2 or more days for phone. (been there) And I got my 1.00 tripod at a garage sale. But you might do ok at a pawn shop if it must be replaced. And about the dog, I have an almost 14 year old standard poodle that I check on a regular basis to see if she is breathing. I hope things get better for you.

Its easy to say something wonderful...just look in the mirror..YOU ARE GORGEOUS!! Take one day at a time....I am headed out in a couple of hours to visit with the doctor about changing my hormone supplement! It is a never ending battle...but the good news, we are alive, stylish, mothers of great kids, and can laugh at the days to come!! (if we choose to)

Sorry 'bout the rough week. Bright colors often help. Your scarf is beautiful.

My son did the rice bowl thing and it WORKED too so maybe it will for you. Love, love, love the purple colors on you. I suggest a warm bath like Judy said but I'd definitely add a glass of vino....
As far as the dog--maybe a monogramed doggie diaper from your Silver Needle Design studio?!?

When it rains, it pours! The scarf IS lovely and I would have said so without all the troubles you're having.

DH and I also have "intense fellowship" about the very expensive gutters he wants to put on our house. No way!

I spilled coffee on my keyboard last summer and did successfully manage to dry it out...after 3 days of propping it up near a fan. Pray that phone survives.
