Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!
Have you had your first glass of green beer yet?
So today and from now on, I am joining Sydney for her
Awkward and Awesome Thursdays
You know Sydney right?  Everyone knows Sydney!  If by some chance you don't know her,you gotta go and check out her blog...
I promise it will be worth it.
  • Losing your entire spreadsheet for your non-inventory expenses somewhere in cyberspace
  • Having to ask son2 to save new spreadsheet so it doesn't get lost again
  • Getting the punch line 5 beats after everyone else in the group ( how was I supposed to know it was Souper Wednesday, not Super Wednesday?)
  • Walking into the wrong house for a meeting, especially when I have been to the correct house before. (the houses were even on opposite sides of the street!)
  • Looking in a 3 way mirror and suddenly realizing that I have gone way too long without getting highlights!
  • Walking around in Asheville, NC on a sunny Sunday afternoon and eating great sushi with son1 before leaving him at school
  • Husband calling me from The Hoover Dam.  He has always wanted to go there and had the opportunity this trip. (I guess that is more awesome for him than me, but it is still awesome)
  • Having the sweetest little old gentleman follow me around the thrift store telling me one liners for about 15 min.  He really was funny!
  • Finding the perfect shade of lavender nail-polish...Belle of the Ball by Confetti.  (CVS Pharmacy and only $1.99) *see first picture
  • Having lunch with 6 of my besties and celebrating one of their birthdays.  (Happy Birthday J.)
My outfit today was inspired by a picture I saw this week over on Debby's Blog,
I just loved the white jeans, black and brown.
I have never once considered wearing boots with white denim.
Now I love the look for spring.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Love your boots...what is awkward for me is how brain slow I am with technology...I still haven't been able to get Disquis to load on my site!!! Some day I will figure this stuff out!

So cute! I love the blouse with the white jeans. I fear if I participated in Awkward and Awesome Thursdays my Awkward list would get too long! Here's awkward... forgetting to check out and pay my hotel! They were cool when I called but still. Awkward!

Cool! I have yet to bust out my white denim. I've got a pair sitting high up in my closet that I just need to take down...but I'm hesitant, and I don't know why!

I love your lavender polish, from what I can see of it! Have you ever been to the Hoover Dam? I thought it was pretty boring, but to each their own, of course! Haha.

Yea, the white jeans were in the back of the closet so I had to dig for them ha
Have no desire to visit Hoover Dam.
That was on husband's Bucket List, think that is why he went without me LOL

I just love that the little old man picked you to follow around. Means he found you a comfortable soul. :-)
