Ever watch a TV show and hear a line that is so clever, you think... how did they come up with that. Or that sounds exactly like something I would say. I would love to be able to go into a room where people are writing a TV show just for the experience of seeing how they actually do it.
Here is line from an episode of 30 Rock a couple of weeks ago that I thought was great....
"I need to look good for my party. I am not wearing anything in my size or age appropriate."

I am pretty sure I am age appropriate here and I think everything fits.
Monday it was 80 degrees, yesterday it was 54!
How are we supposed to dress for that?
I was trying to incorporate spring into the look, yet still cover up for a bit of warmth.
I know I wore this denim shirt in the 30 X 30 so I would think I would be sick of it.
But I just love it!
I am not a huge fan of "capri" style pants
Maybe since these are billed as "cropped" not capri
I let my guard down and purchased them.
I really can't decide if I like them or not.
I do like the denim with the pink and love the pearl statement necklace with the denim.
I pulled out the espadrilles for some spring flare.

Those espadrilles are mad cute.
I love love love 30 rock. It's my favorite comedy right now. Community and Cougar Town are next in the line up. Most people say they hate Cougar Town, but how is that possible? It's super funny.

I really really like the pants! I love that length. I like your whole look here too, and I'm just now starting to warm up to the denim shirt trend. I find it harder to embrace fashions that were around when I wore them the first time -- I don't know why that is. Maybe because I either failed at them or couldn't afford them? I dunno. anyway, I'm rambling. Great job!
That's my kind of outfit. I love a denim shirt and khakis. The shoes are really cute too.
You know, Capris are really comfortable, but I avoid them...in part because they seem to be the default item in so many women's summer wardrobes.
A fellow 30 Rock fan- now I like you even more :) If you like that show you will love Parks & Recreation (my fave!) You look very summery- I love the shoes with the denim and white. My legs are too stumpy to wear capris but you look very elegant!
I think that look is appropriate for lots of ages! And I seriously want those pink pants!
I just saw this post and I really like your cropped pants...looks great! You can easily wear them since you are slim...they have to be a problem for the shorter, curvier gals. I just purchased a pair and I think I like them...but I might be too big! Yours look great!

I am loving the denim shirt also! I am a little afraid of looking like the sixties in it tho....not that you do. The low pants make it look modern.
I, too am not a fan on the cropped look. when did Floods become cropped? I have a couple pairs, but it really isnt a flattering look--it cuts evreyones legs off and makes them look short.
You still look cute tho! :~)
