Fair And Square

Remember back in June when I mentioned that I had found a cute little sundress at Old Navy on sale for $4, but I had to fight a woman over it?

I have worn this dress a few times this summer, but have never done a true outfit post on it.
I am dedicating this post to my victory over getting this dress fair and square.  I saw it first, I grabbed it first, it was my size not hers and her husband/boyfriend said to let me have it!
This is the first time I have actually worn this belt with the dress.
I have usually worn my reddish sandals or dark navy with it, so I decided to change that up a bit as well.
I added some organic looking jewelry in keeping with the design of the fabric.
Perfect look for running around town in 100 degree weather.
We actually had a break yesterday and only made it to the high 80's.
 Break over.....
My question to you today is...have you ever had to fight for an item of clothing, stalk someone in the store to see if they were going to put the only one in your size back or hide an item of clothing and come back for it?

haha, i hate it when people try to fight you for things! I had a woman try to talk me into giving up a set of vintage pyrex bowls in the thrift store.
cute dress though, glad you got it!

I really love your hair like that. Super cute. That really is a fantastic outfit, honey. And I'm sure it was perfect for the weather. I'm going to be in NC starting August 2nd and I'm hoping for some amazingly HOT weather.

Congrats on winning the sundress war!

Don't you look adorable in your awesome Old Navy find!  Love it. YES! I have done that zillions of times -walk around saying in my mind "please put it down, please put it down!"
