Is She Serious!?

Yep, you read that correctly!
I am jumping on this bandwagon.
Misty over on
came up with this crazy plan.
Do I think I can do it?
Truthfully, I am really not sure,
but I will give it a go.
It's not like I will go naked if I don't shop for 100 days.
That is kind of the point.
I have more than enough clothes and really have no reason to buy more.
I like to think I am a good remixer and this will also be a great way for me to really overhaul my closet!
I do have two caveats to this challenge...
1.) My brother is getting married in Oct. and I reserve the right to buy a new dress for that event.
2.) If I just happen to come across a pair of cute wedge boots at a reasonable price, I will make that purchase.
I wore this on Saturday.
It was misting when I went out for the day and was supposed to rain all day long.
Well, the rain never came and husband kept making fun of me and my wellies.
All day he would refer to imaginary puddles and comment how it was a good thing I had them on.
He thinks he is such a comedian!
So get ready for a weekly report of how I am doing and maybe even give me words of wisdom and encouragement as I embark on this crazy challenge.

Are you up for this detox session?  Do you need an intervention?

Ha! That sounds like something my husband would do. =) We can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em, right? ;)

100 days will be a long time, but we can do it!! =)

Awwww you too??? Getting on the 100 day bandwagon? I couldn't manage but that is simply because I don't have any willpower! The graphic long sleeved tee is really cute and I love your galoshes!

What about *gasp* Christmas? Or do the rules allow you to buy stuff for other people, but just not yourself?

Anywho. That is a LONG time to go without any retail therapy. I wish you well. You're a better woman than I.

Your outfit is so stylish and warm and comfy looking! I love your wellies! I still haven't bought a pair, although I'm sure if I wore them SOMEONE would manage to say SOMETHING negative about them. ;)

I need to do this challenge! My wallet would love me! Can't wait to hear all about it, and the Wellies, cute! Always love a good wellie, rain or shine (in my cases) where it always STOPS raining the second I put them on!

Well imaginary puddles or not you look adorable!

About that retail detox...each time I read about something like that I get a terrible feeling. Not shopping at all just doesn't sound fun. That's pathetic but I admit it.

Good luck on your shopping ban! I know I can't even make it a month...
I know I don't shop out of some sort of necessity, so my world wouldn't be too worse off if I didn't shop... just kind of boring.

Yeah. What about Christmas?? Oh I'm not as strong as you are, Brett. Oh no............not at all.

I was so excited to see you in your J Brand jeans after you emailed me but alas, you haven't posted a pic yet. Can't wait. And just under the wire of your detox! Phew.

Tracy

I love caveats.

I always say I'm not a good shopper, but I'm a great buyer. Ha!
