Hot Tea Weather

This outfit was pre-surgery and I totally forgot I had taken these photos.
Not the greatest pictures, but better than what I am really wearing right now

I don't know about where you live, but here it is time for hot tea all the time!
I wanted to share a recipe I got a couple of years ago for homemade Chai Tea.
It is not healthy by any means, but it sure is good!
Here are the ingredients you will  need:
1 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
1 cup French vanilla powdered non-dairy creamer
2 ½ cups white sugar
1 ½ cups unsweetened instant tea
2 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground cardamom
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
¼ tsp white pepper
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until it is a fine powder.
Use two-three tablespoons of mix to 8 ounces of hot water or milk.
This is very yummy and makes a great holiday gift as well!
I was going for a casual preppy look here.
Love to put the chuck taylors on with this kind of look.

Do you have a favorite holiday drink recipe?
Do you give things like this as gifts?
Do you like to reciecve things like this as gifts?

green stripe shirt-J.Crew
argyle vest-Old Navy
navy pants-Loft
shoes-Chuck Taylors

Chai Tea is actually my favorite, so I would love to do your recipe. Anything food related is a good gift to give and receive! I love to eat, so if you give me presents I can eat, I am a happy camper :)

Love your preppy look. Cute sweater! Heather

I love wearing argyle vests over striped tops or tops with patterns. It gives the preppy look a little bit of an edge. You look super adorable! This is a great professional look.

Ohh a little menswear preppy! While it's been sunny here, the temp's definitely dropping. I wish I could try your recipe... lactose. I could always use the spices with almond milk, though I'm not sure it would be as good!

Your vest is adorable and I cannot cook to save my life and well...hot drinks are best made through the coffee pot meaning..I can only make coffee....sigh

Oh, yum! I've really been into Chai tea lately. I'm not sure if I have it in me to make my own, though, but it would be fun! I'd totally love to receive a gift like that!

And you are looking lovely, by the way. I like the trouser-y jeans + Converse look. I do it myself a lot (just never take pictures).
