Everybody,Everywear: Sequins + Sparkle

It is Everybody,Everywear time this month!

Sequins + Sparkles | Everybody, Everywear

This month's theme was Sequins + Sparkle...well, you know I am all over that
I wore this yesterday to a Christmas breakfast with girlfriends.
We did a gift exchange involving gifts that reminded us of our childhood Christmases.
After everyone groaned about it initially~it turned out to be a lot of fun and people had really cool memories!
I wanted to do a little color mixing, pattern mixing and texture mixing here.
I think I accomplished my goal!
I love the pinks and burgundies together
 and
weren't velvet and sequins just made to go together?
I decided to do a faux bob for this look, but let me tell you it ended up in a hot mess by the time the breakfast was over and I just took it down.
So what is a Christmas memory you have that you could give as a gift?

One of mine was a silver Christmas tree, because my step-father's mom had one of those silver trees that had a color wheel on it and changed colors.
Anybody out there know what I am talking about???

I have pictures of me as a little girl in front of the silver tree with the color wheel! I hated that tree...
But, I love your look and these colors are gorgeous! Especially the blazer...just stunning!

I hadn't realized how much mixing you were doing until you mentioned it! Great outfit! I'd love to see the blazer with a pair of black dress pants and the sequins, it would really show off the textures!

Ha! I wore velvet + sequins for EBEW today, as well. Naturally, I agree they're meant to go together. You look wonderful!

Brett your outfit is awesome. I love the velvet, the sequins, the floral skirt, very nicely done! Sounds like a fun time with the girls and I am not sure I know what kind of christmas tree your step grandmother had...but it does sound very festive.

You've done a great job of texture mixing here! Sounds like you had a really great day.

Can we get a faux bob tutorial? Yours looks so chic!

I love that skirt and that sparkly tank!! They're so pretty!

We always got a live tree every year for Christmas, so I could give something that reminded me of that pine tree/Christmassy scent. =)

I missed EBEW again because I am a Terrible Blogger. Your faux bob looks really good! I can never get mine to look like that. I really like these colors together, especially your sequins and burgundy blazer. I love a blazer in a bold color... I'd love to have one in burgundy or bright pink!
