Missoni At Christmas

Doesn't it seem like so long ago when the Missoni for Target craze was everywhere??
Now, I hardly ever hear about it or even see many of the pieces being blogged about.

So, I decided to get my little Missoni top out and wear it!
The last time I wore this, I got several comments about all the pattern and color going on in one simple little shirt.
That is exactly what I love about this shirt!
I kept the bottom half simple and preppy and let the shirt do all the talking.
I did add the clear beaded necklace that ties with the satin ribbon and some arm candy for a little eye diversion.
Your eyes need to rest somewhere right?!
That is the same reason I kept the hair long and simple.
In case you are wondering the back on the shirt is the same as the sleeves.
I think I am going to pair this shirt up with a little skirt next time I venture to wear it.

Do you still wear your Missoni things?
Have you seen any out and about lately?

This is such a fun shirt. It looks like a watercolor. We didn't do the Missoni craze, although we did win a scarf in a giveaway :)

You are right though, we hardly see other bloggers wearing their Missoni stuff either. Kind of weird!

I have been seeing Missoni for Target in the Goodwill lately. I will definitely pick up a few pieces. Your shirt is darling. It was all the rage a bit ago..what happened? Good for you keeping it alive. Dawn Suitcase Vignettes xo

What a great outfit! Do you know that the only pieces I ever saw from that collection at my Target were rainboots. I was disappointed because its cute!

I like that shirt. I got one Missoni skirt, but I don't wear it to work since it is short, so it doesn't end up on the blog.

Yeah, that was a crazy time with all of the stores being sold out in like a second after getting the stuff. I never got any of it.

You look SO stink'n cute!

I don't remember seeing this shirt when the collection came out but I like it a lot! The necklace you're wearing with it is definitely a perfect match, too. I don't have anything from Missoni for Target-- wanted housewares but I think they were the first to go!

I love that sweater Brett. Sadly I didn't get to Target for the day of the Missoni launch as I was out w/a sinus infection that day.

I suppose now that the stores have sold out there isn't much to say, but i'm happy to see you wearing your bright top!

I grabbed several pieces in the wild craziness of everything without trying them on and they are a little bit so I haven't been wearing mine. :(

You're right -- I haven't heard bloggers talk about it anymore, but it is such a lovely shirt. Love the wavy stripes :)

Love the top! That reminds me...I need to bust out my Missoni for Target flats. I haven't worn them in a while!

I don't remember seeing that top before either! I guess certain areas got certain pieces?

What a fun necklace!

I've been thinking the same thing about the Target Missoni pieces. It almost seems like everyone was REALLY excited for them, and couldn't figure out how to style them for winter. Way to make your Missoni work for multiple seasons :)

I've never been so into regular Missoni, so I definitely wasn't interested in Target. But your piece looks great.
