$19 and change

Don't you love when something is advertised as the dollar amount and change?
Do they really think they are playing some mind trick on us?
All the clothing items I am wearing in this post are $19 and change, so I guess it does work!
I wore this Friday night to a political fundraiser.
Now let me just say I have no interest in politics and pretty much all of my knowledge
comes from re-runs of West Wing.
Husband and I went to support a friend and I ended up being pretty impressed.
I like pattern mixing with stripes and polka dots
and the navy/green combo is so hot right now
how could I not wear this.
I added some pearl bracelets
'cuz that's what conservatives do right? lol
The liberal in me threw in the red bracelet for good measure!

Are you sucked in by a deal that is dollars and change
 or
would you rather just have the price a nice round number???
 (ex. $19.99 vs $20)

blouse-Old Navy (19.50)
blazer-TJ Maxx (19.99)
skirt-Target (19.96)
shoes-Payless
red bracelet-Versona
pearl bracelets-random

Haha!! I love it. "That's what conservatives do, right?" ;) You look gorgeous and I bet you outshone everyone there!

I'm most definitely always sucked in by a deal, whether it's dollars and change or a round number. If the number is low enough, I'll buy it! lol

So I'm pretty sure I just bought that same blazer at Marshall's for $19.99 over the weekend...I can't wait to wear it...love how you styled it!

Great outfit! You look very professional!
I would prefer $20 instead of $19.99...it doesn't sound any less or appealing to me.

I love your blazer! I majored in International Relations, but ended up disliking the field. Or not liking it as much as fashion.

Seriously, I'm convinced that everyone on TV today got their start on The West Wing. It's crazy. Whenever I catch reruns I'm like no way? She was on The West Wing, too?

This is one of my all time favorites of your Brett, the pattern mixing is awesome, the colors are fun and it shoes off your great legs! Way to hunt those bargains :)

WOW very impressive! I want to steal that blazer off your back! haha been looking for one like that so may have to hit up TJ Maxx.

I don't understand that $19.99 thing. JcPenney has their new campaign Fair and Square saying how it's a scam to not make things evenly priced so there must be some logic to it. Perhaps because it sounds cheaper?

Love mixing prints with stripes! I don't fall for the 19.99 type prices. I always round up in my head.
