If It Works - Do It Again

Looks like I am having a love affair with the colors navy and kelly all of a sudden.
They are fun, nautical and preppy colors all at the same time.
I got this sweater right before we went to the Outer Banks on super sale at Banana Republic.
I knew it was going to be cold and thought it would be a good thing to pack.
Sadly, I never bothered to take it out of the bag until I was packing and to my surprise they had left the giant clothes theft detector on it.
How I got out of that store unnoticed I will never know,
because when I came back to have it removed
about 4 different alarms went off and 3 people were by my side pronto and all I did was walk in!
Wore this on Monday when it was rainy and cold.
I honestly thought this sweater would not see the light of day until next fall.

Do you tend to get on a color kick?
Do you usually realize it after the fact or in the middle of the color obsession?

This is such a timeless color combination, and yet perfect for spring's trends! What a great sweater, I love the neck and cuff details, and that fun necklace.

I get on color kicks, right now I feel like I'm drawn to all things bright pink.

So clearly you're not a one-time wearer ;)

I get on color kicks AND trend kicks. I was super obsessed with polka dots a few months and bought 3 shirts in one week :x haha

I do the same thing!! I usually don't notice it until the third day or so when I notice a color theme on the blog. lol

I love those green skinnies!! I wish I had gotten a pair before they sold out!

I have my basics and will add seasonal color and trendier items in when I can. We tend to wear a lot of grey and black in my neck of the woods - probably weather related.

I love this color combo! Those jeans are super cute and the boots are perfect.

Sometimes I get on a color kick, but lately I have been on a stripe kick without realizing it until someone at work pointed it out.

I like the sweater and the jeans together for sure. And I LOVE your necklace. What a great way to dress it all up! I've left stores too with the anti-theft devices still on. SO annoying. I always check my items when I walk out now. Especially when I am shopping out of town!
