Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Are you ready for some awkward and awesome??

Awkward:
  • Trying to move a sleeper sofa into son1's apartment up 3 flights of stairs that turn at every landing.  That couch may never leave that apartment again!
  • The couple in front of me at Starbucks that were pooling all of their money to pay for their coffee and muffin. ( I thought I might have to chip in a quarter or two, but they made it)
  • Husband has gone crazy cleaning and organizing everything, everywhere.  I walk in and BAM- nothing is the same. (hoping he gets over this quickly)
  • My first night all alone and all ready to watch Netflix.  The Internet went completely out!
  • Loading up the car with items for the Habitat Restore and pulling up to find out it was closed.

 Awesome:
  • Finding a kind gentleman in the back at Habitat Restore that I talked into taking my stuff!
  • Seeing a rainbow.  Couldn't tell you the last time I saw a real rainbow in the sky.
  • The entire 2nd floor of my house is clean and magazine photo shoot ready.
  • Inheriting son2's beta fish while he is at school.  (I just hope I don't kill it!)
  • Hosting a small brunch on Friday for friends.
Not sure why I have such a pained look on my face in these pictures.
Every single shot I took, looks like that...
I thought this was a fun summery look and I have been waiting to wear this ikat shirt I got back in June.
The weather is finally beginning to cooperate with my wardrobe.

Let's hear about your awkward or awesome moment this week.

That's cool that the guy at the ReStore was able to help you. My husband donates his extras from the business there. Great charity!

What else is great is that awesome ikat shirt! Love how you paired it with your white pants. Heather

You should have been the one doing a photoshoot in front of my ikat curtains with your fab ikat top!!! Haha can understand the couch moving pain, we did something similar with our box spring, it's being sold with the house :) I can't wait until my house is mag ready (and am happy my man doesn't like to rearrange or decorate!)

The color of your shirt looks so good on you, such a pretty color! And I totally feel your Internet pain. It goes out at the worst times! :)
