Inspiration Monday

Hello All
Today is Inspiration Monday.  I am linking up with Two Birds for this challenge. Today our inspiration is Rachel Bilson.  I first became a big fan of hers when she was on the OC.(Started watching the OC for Peter Gallagher though!) She seems to always get it right and can pull off just about any look.
I pretty much tried to copy her look straight up because,
 well,
 she's Rachel Bilson.
I brought out my thrifted jacket from the challenge a few weeks ago.
 Best buy ever for $3.
My jeans were repurposed from son1's closet!
I have been wanting a new pair of boyfriend jeans,
but all the ones that I liked were over $100.
I just couldn't pull the trigger,
so I decided to make my own.
With help of a pair of scissors and some sand paper,
my boyfriend jeans were done in about 30 minutes.
I will confess that they are the most comfortable things ever!
Thanks son1.

So impressed with those refashioned jeans! I love the worn, distressed look you gave them. And the relaxed fit is one of my favorite. I have a pair of old Levi's boyfriends jean in my closet I love. They're too big, but I'll wear them anyway jut because they are that comfortable. Adorable outfit - I love your take on Rachel's looK!

Rachel Bilson is one of my favorite celebrity fashion inspirations. She always does it right. You did it right with your look too. Love the whole thing! Good job on the DIY jeans :)

Sorry to hear your NY&Co store had a smelly problem. You should definitely head back when you get a chance, lol! Heather

Ah, SO cute!
Brett, you've got the perfect bf jeans! After all, isn't that what bf jeans are supposed to be? A copy of man's jeans?
Does your son know he's missing a pair of jeans? :D

I think you did a great job channeling the inspiration. The bf jeans in my closet are a distressed pair from Guess.

I actually prefer your jacket to the original inspiration, and I love that you pinched your son's jeans! I also prefer your colourful bag, so I think you win the styling competition this week, Brett! xxxx

What a smart idea to steal your son's jeans - I love how you DIY'd them! And your shoes are great!
