Happy 2013

I hope you had a great night last night and aren't feeling any pain so you can eat all of the proper foods!

If you grew up in the deep south like I did you always had black-eyed peas for luck, cornbread for riches and good fortune and mustard greens for money!!
Well, I actually did wear the original outfit that I picked out.  The shoes did cause me a bit of a dilemma,
but I decided to go with these because they were much more fun!
If you are trying to figure out what is weird about my legs...
I am wearing sparkly hose.
I kept the jewelry to the arm with the big bow at my neck and the extravagance of the fur.
Husband, son2 and I are going to go out and hit the shops today.
We haven't really been out since before Christmas.
Last year husband and I scored big on New Year's Day.
We are hoping to do the same today.

Will you be eating black eyed peas, mustard greens and cornbread?

You certainly did get a lot of wear out of that skirt Brett! I am so sick of shopping, I know it sounds odd from a shopoholic but I really bought a lot this holiday season and now the deals may be good, but every store feels like a tornado went through it argh!

Happy New Year Brett! You look smashing in this outfit. I love a blog that inspires me to leave glitter wherever I go in 2013! We'll see you again soon.
No black eyed peas, mustard greens and cornbread for this PNW girl. I really must start a New Years Day tradition.

Happy New Year. I'm glad that you chose to wear the fun shoes!

The fur is so luxe! Much better than my NYE outfit, which was all black as usual with a sparkly scarf... I should have gone for more!
