Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Can you even believe this is the last day of February??
I honestly don't know where the time goes!

 Awkward:
  • Looking for something that is supposed to be stored in the refrigerator and then finding it in the cabinet.  I am sure that was someone else that put it back in the wrong place!
  • When you get all positioned on the couch ready to watch your favorite TV show and then realize it didn't come on that week.
  • When you make a detailed grocery list only to discover you left it at home when you get to the grocery store.
  • When you are introducing someone and you completely blank on one of the names.
  • When you come home ready to eat something you have been thinking of all day and someone else has already eaten it.
 Awesome:
  • When you are having a horrible day and the check out lady calls you baby and tells you that you look really nice today.
  • Netflix new series, House of Cards.  Kevin Spacey is amazing.
  • Playing your new favorite song on repeat all day long.
  • Thinking you only have $2 on your Starbucks card, but you really have $12.
  • The POWER of PRAYER!
I had to pull out my stripe blazer since I have seen them all over the stores lately.
 I got mine last spring
and
I am happy to see they are still very on trend.
Decided to pair it with a pop of color with cords
and rounded out the look with a navy and silver trim sweater.

Let's hear your awkward and awesome moments this week
 in the comment section.

Awkward-I got a flat tire on the highway this morning during rush hour in the snow!

I absolutely love this outfit. The striped blazer and sweater are perfectly layered. The bright pants are fun too! Heather

Oh my gosh, Brett...I've done the same thing with the refrigerator food in the pantry. Sigh. :)

Love your outfit; the pants are simply divine.

I LOVE your outfit, those purply pink pants are divine! I will need to look into The House of Cards, have you seen "Touch" on Netflix? We like that one. Argh I too often forget my grocery list while shopping!

I don't know what happens to spring either, but I love stripes this spring. A striped bag is on my list.

I'm into my pink pants again, too. Must be the gradual change in the weather!

I'm loving this striped sweater! You look so cute! Let me tell you how I constantly put salad, carrots, etc. in the pantry. Ugh. I have to be really careful.

I love those cords! I'm kind of glad they're back in style ;-)
My dog Sasha waits until I'm tucked into my favorite corner of the couch to let me know she has to go out - by punching me in the shin!

I can relate to most of your awkwards and your awesomes! Love when someone "mothers" me a bit by calling me baby or honey. I call people "honey" all the time....hope they don't mind!
