I hope your weekend weather was as fabulous as ours was here.
It gave me hope that spring really is around the corner.
Today our inspiration over on Two Birds is Olivia Palermo.
She is looking quite spring like in her dress and blazer and so I went all out channeling that vibe as well.
I personally haven't owned a white dress since my 20's,
so I just stuck with what I know...color!
It was just cool enough here to warrant tights and thank goodness for that,
because my legs are whiter than Olivia's dress.
I probably would not have come up with the idea of pairing a blazer with a spring/summer dress on my own,
so I was excited to try this look out.
I decided to forgo the necklace in my look since my dress has a keyhole neckline.
This is definitely a great way to slowly work your way into your warm weather clothes.
I am excited about this concept since I am beginning to tire of my winter clothes.
Is this a look that you normally wear
or is this a new concept for you?

I love this! Everything from the jacket to the dress to the tights and those awesome shoes. You nailed it! Heather
Oh wow, Brett, this is such a breath of fresh air! I really love these colors.
Love that you used orange for the dress color! And that jacket is beautiful! Love the color and white lining. This outfit reminds me of the 60's? 70's?

I love your version so much better! You're ready for Easter and warmer temps coming up.
I love Olivia's inspiration outfit, but being a lover of lots of color myself, I love yours even more! Hope you had a great weekend!

Oh wow, how cool is your interpretation with the orange in the dress and the bright tights and jacket!!! Pretty Brett!
So colorful! This makes me smile just looking at it. I love to wear my dresses with blazers (or turtlenecks or button-downs underneath) because otherwise my dresses would only get worn a few months out of the year. And that would just be sad.
I LOVE your outfit. That is AWESOME!!!
I forgot to say that I would totally wear that outfit.
I love all the color here! You've given me a good idea how to style similar color tights I have--I never would have thought to pair them with shades of pink and orange, but it works really nice. Going to have to play around with that color palette a bit! Thanks for the ideas :) Jumped over from the Two Birds linky.
I love that dress on you! Great print, and so cute paired with the tights!
Wow! Great dress Brett and I'm loving all the spring color. I'm having to step outside my comfort zone (it's usually grey, black or white in Seattle) We are actually having a real spring this year. Usually it's pretty grey until the end of June.

Brett this outfit is so adorable. I love the combination of the purply-pink and orange. Such a pretty color for your skin and hair.
LOVE the purple and orange together - such a fun color combo! And that blazer is too cute :)

I LOVE this! I'm a big fan of bright colors and I adore how you've put this together. I need to get a pair of those tights immediately!

In the '80s, I had a white linen blazer...that was certainly a lesson in impractical fabrics!
I adore this outfit. Well done. Beautiful colour and item combination.
