Inspiration Monday

How was your weekend?
Mine was cold, wet and gloomy!
Where are you spring???

It's Inspiration Monday today.
Two Birds chose Nikki Reed as our inspiration.
I only know Nikki from her roles in the Twilight movies, but I understand she is a bit of a Renascence woman.
Nikki's look is simple with a bit of flash with her sequin jacket.
 Sadly, I don't own a sequin jacket,
so I threw on this great top with bits of sequin detail on it.
Adding a statement necklace with the sequin collar and pocket
gave me the feeling of being just as dressy as Nikki
with her white T and jeans.
I wore printed black jeans simply because my plain black jeans were dirty and besides,
printed jeans are always more fun.

Do you own a sequin jacket/blazer
 or
is that just too over the top for you?

A sequined blazer would be fun to own, just not practical. I like your look better. The printed pants are definitely more fun! Heather

Sequins are always fun. I knew she looked familiar, but didn't realize she was from Twilight.

Ah, the Twilight movies. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give them a -5! I do like the look you're referencng here though. I love that you wore a printed jean and those booties are gorgeous!

The sequin collar and pocket is too cool - what a great way to make a shirt fun!

Love your interpretation-you nailed it! Love your jeans. I don't have a sequined top, but I have eyed them at the J Crew outlet store many times. Maybe next time I'll get one!
