Are you beginning to think about Easter Sunday?
The menu, the guests, dying eggs, the treats?
I will admit I am a big last minute type girl when it comes to these things,
so I really haven't thought too much about it yet.
It's also hard to think about outside egg hunts, pretty spring dresses and beautiful blooms on the trees when
it is still so cold outside.
We have a forecast of cold and rain.
Not much fun if you ask me.
I pulled out some tried and true winter wear for this outfit
and plopped a bright orange shirt in the middle of it to give it some cheeriness.
Orange is such a happy color don't you think?
Of course I added a statement necklace for flair.
I am not happy with my choice of footwear,
but honestly I was only thinking about warmth when I chose these boots.
Next time,
I think a bootie would look much better.
Do you celebrate Easter, Passover
or just look at it as another Sunday?
What are you favorite things to do if you celebrate?

The orange was the perfect color to add. It seems like this cold spell isn't going to ever end, so dressing in bright colors at least helps.
We do the Easter Bunny thing, dinner, egg hunt on Easter. Of course I can't find the plastic eggs right now though! Heather
I love sherbert colors and it goes well with the cardi...you always look so cute!
I love orange, it does add a bit of vibrancy and cheerfulness to an outfit.
We don't really do much for Easter, just a chocolate egg each for the kids. I am more interested in the slow-cooked spiced leg of lamb I will be cooking on Sunday, accompanied by a glass or two of a decent red wine! That sounds better than chocolate to me! xxxx
ooohhh love the plaid pants! we go to church and also do easter hunts for the kids!

If eating too much chocolate counts as celebrating, count me in! Love the pants and the necklace- and your smile is so sweet, I barely noticed your warm boots. Happy Easter then!
I'm actually having major anxiety over Easter preparations. This is the one holiday that always sneaks up on me. At least we have the candy bought! I love the cut of these pants.
Hi Brett!
Just getting back from vacation.. coming back to lots of emails, huge work load, 2 birthdays, a wedding, and Easter.. all over the next week.
I JUST tried on an orange blouse and loved it. I'm not opposed to the color, just don't wear it. I like the way you paired it with the patterned trouser.
Have a great week ahead and happy Easter. I'll be around more sometime next week.

I'm totally jealous of your cardi! It's gorgeous!! ANd I love the statement necklace. I'll be on a cruise over easter so no celebrations this year.

I'm not ready for Easter and we will be having our family dinner at our house. Probably around 25 people. Everyone will bring their favorite dishes, so I don't have to prepare everything. I MUST go to the store tomorrow!
Hey pretty lady!! Love that outfit! Especially that necklace. And orange IS a happy color - you look great in it!
brett, i agree that orange is a happy color, and that outfit makes me happy to look at. i adore it! i didn't even realize easter was this sunday until like yesterday, or maybe the day before. true story.
I love the orange and light blue together. Very pretty and springy pairing :) Happy Easter weekend to you Brett!
