Inspiration Monday

Did everyone have a great weekend?
We got a surprise visit from son2.
I bet you are thinking aww how sweet, the real reason for the visit...
His room mate was sick and he didn't want to get sick the last 4 weeks of school!

Today over at Two Birds our inspiration is Selma Blair.
I have been a long time fan of Selma's and she seems like she would be cool to hang out with as well.
This is about as easy of a look as you can get.
Perfect for the park where it looks like Selma is.
Sadly, I don't hang out at the park anymore,
but that doesn't mean I can't pull off this easy,
 casual look.
Since I didn't have an available toddler to add some fun,
I added a bold ring and some starfish earrings.
I threw on my Sperry's to complete this look and was comfortable for the entire day.
So, pull out your boyfriend jeans and a striped shirt,
cuz I know you have one,
and go hang out in the park for while!

Are you a fan of a t-shirt and boyfriend jeans?
Would you wear this look out or just around the house?

Holy crap, you have short hair. I'm a terrible friend because I'm just now seeing this. Looks fab. Love the look.

The more I see your haircut the more I like it. It makes you look younger and prettier in a big way.

No, I can't wear this look withour appearing saggy and baggy, I need more structure! But it certainly looks lovely on you, Brett, casual and fun! And no toddler to grab your earrings, hurray! xxx

Love this casual look and better to get a visit for that reason than no visit at all haha! Glad you had a great weekend!

Darling Brett! I need to get my boyfriend jeans altered. They are too loose and I feel like a boy.. It's difficult to make them look feminine. I struggle with mine:(

Lucky you to have your son visit. BOTH my kids are gone now.. I miss them so much. Seems I've gone from pure chaos to just me and my dogs:)

Wow, this is totally something I'd wear out running errands or to any of my kid activities. Really cute look! I love the starfish earrings too.

Great, great look for you - especially the red and white tee!
I don't do horizontal stripes at all. Vertical ones are fine, but I'm more of a polka dot girl at heart ;-)

You look adorable! Ok. Did you size up on the boyfriend jeans or buy your regular size? I have been wanting some, but I haven't taken the time to actual try any on. Thanks for any tips!
