I am still trying to figure out how to dress for this crazy weather, so I threw on a very light v-neck over my madras,
put some pearls on my wrist
(they would have been around my neck back in the day)
and went for comfort and ease.
Of course this look wouldn't be complete without a
statement necklace!
I am always drawn to a preppy look
and
I don't think this look will ever go out of style!

you look adorable!! i love this fresh look on you!
Madras is one of my favorites. It just screams summer. I have a skirt in red, white and blue madras and I bought my husband a couple pair of shorts.
This is a really cute spring look and the statement necklace really finishes it off. I love preppy looks too, so I love this! Heather
How cute, Brett.
My 23 year old son just bought a Madras suit! Hi thinks its funny. :)
Lovely look: comfortable, easy, laid back and still feminine and cheerful. Like it a lot.
The white sweater really makes the madras peeking out pop! I also think the bright earrings are so much fun. :)
i don't think it will go out of style either. dear brett, it looks super on you too. madras reminds me of the book the outsiders. that's the first time i heard that word.
I like madras - I don't have anything in the print right now though!
