Squares and Circles

I mentioned yesterday that on Wednesday I cut 5 inches of my hair off.
I will admit that it seemed like everywhere I looked some celeb was cutting off their locks, but that's not why I did it.
I was ready for a change and decided to just go for it!
Now as we all know, my hair may never actually look like this picture again.
Why is it that at home we can never achieve the same look as our hairstylist??
My next outfit of the day post might just involve a baseball cap!
I will admit that I still haven't gotten used to the new do.
I actually caught myself looking at a hair tutorial for a chignon.
 Yep, that's not happening anymore!
As for my outfit,
I had tons of work to do in my studio,
so I went for super casual and comfortable.
I decided to keep on the pattern mixing track that I have been on this week,
hence the gingham and polka dots.
It just makes for a fun and playful look.

When was the last time you made a drastic change to your hair?

You look awesome! This shorter hair suits you.

There is just something about a haircut that makes me feel like a whole new woman. Except the one time when I got my hair cut to look like Colleen from the very first Survivor. I ended up looking like a boy! I cried all the way home, ha ha! Enjoy your weekend. Heather

Your new hair cut looks beautiful, Brett, it really suits you. My hair has been short, long and all points in between, and various colours, but I'm too lazy to bother changing it much these days! xxx

I love your shorter haircut. It looks very fresh! I wear my hair very short, and went back to that yesterday after a couple of months of growing it out. I like easy hair and my normal cut is EASY!

I love your hair - you look younger (as if that's even possible). I'm also a sucker for polka dots and I'm loving how you paired them with gingham!

Your hair cut looks amazing :) I agree though, I literally can never style my hair the same as they do the day it's cut!

Brett, you always look pretty and amazing, but this haircut has amped that up. It really uplifts your look and is very youthful looking. Love it!

your layering is amazing, I love every piece of this! well done. I love your hair by the way- I'm about to chop a little off mine too! I am ready for a little of a change. I HATE how I can never get the same look at home as the stylist gets it! Totally feel ya.
