Awkward and Awesome Friday

I'll tell you what is awkward...when you totally forget what day of the week it is.
Why did I think today was Thursday???

Awkward:

• When you are part of a group text, but you don't know half of the people in the group, yet you continue to get texts from these people all day long.
• Renting a movie and then having your son tell you that we already own that movie.
• When you get a song stuck in your head, then finally get rid of it and you walk into a store playing that song.
• Having to use Viber to talk to your husband and he is only in Virgina.
• Looking forward to eating something in the refrigerator, but when you go to get it-you realize that someone got there before you did.

 

 Awesome:

• Getting not one, but two surprise packages in the mail in one week.
• Growing your own eggplant and making eggplant parmesan out of it.
• Becoming a coffee drinker after 50 years.
• Finally finishing the last 4 episodes of Grey's Anatomy... Bring on season 10!
• Finishing a project you have been dreading for days.

 

I have been seeing tons a navy and pink together out there in bloggerland. 

 I really like the combination of the two colors

 and

 decided to give the combo a try myself.
