My how the summer flew by.
Our inspiration this Monday over at Two Birds was a two for one look.
We had the option of being inspired by Vanessa Hudgens or Eddie Redmayne.
I chose to be inspired by both since their looks had many of the same elements.
I adore tan and black together.
I just think the two colors look so rich and sophisticated when paired together.
I pulled out this anorak sweatshirt jacket to pair with my little black T.
I actually wore this last Friday when I took son1 for one of his treatments.
It was perfect because those rooms feel like you have entered the arctic circle.
I really like all of the elements of this outfit and can see myself repeating it easily.
I will be keeping my eye out this fall for a cute little Letterman style jacket like the two inspirations are wearing!
Do you love black and tan together
or
are you old school
and
think the two should never be paired together?

I love this!!! I never thought about pairing tan and black to do a take on the menswear look. DUH!
Looks great together. Love your shoes and your glasses!
i really like your version. i think black and tan together is a classic and crisp combo!
Love the jacket and those jeans!
You look so cute! Love those shoes.
Darling wedges and such a relaxed, yet chic look. I can't believe we are already discussing back to school. I remember when me son was in college. He had to go back in early August to get the Frat ready. My daughter starts later.. end of September.
The summer has definitely flown by! Love the outfit, especially those wedges :)

Black and tan are so chic. This is one of my favorites that you've recreated. The jeans and wedges are awesome.
Great look. You look awesome!! So yes please wear it over and over again.
Unfortunately the colour of your jacket is absolutely not my colour. I cannot pull this colour scheme off, otherwise I would copy you immediately.
