Maxi-Power

Are you a maxi dress lover?
Maxi skirt lover?
I know I am.
I love everything about them.
Not only are they super comfortable and cool to wear in the summer, they are feminine as well.
You can wear them with heels, booties, flip flops, sandals
 and
 even tennis shoes!
You can layer over them, layer under them and transition them from summer to fall.
For some reason though, we rarely wear maxi's in the winter.
 Wonder why that is?
I styled this maxi very simply with a cropped denim jacket and some tennis shoes.
I added a simple necklace and I was out the door.
Easy, comfortable and stylish.

Look, even Joe likes this look!

Are you good at transitioning your summer maxi's into the fall?

I just got my first maxi yesterday,I don't know why it took so long! Love yours and I think the shoes help it transition to fall. I'm thinking of putting my boƮtes with mine.

Your maxi looks great with the jacket and tennis shoes. I never thought to pair mine with tennis shoes. Joe is too cute!

I have a hard time transitioning my maxis into winter, but this year I am going to challenge myself to do it more.

You sre so tall this look shows off your "long and lean" frame!

I certainly will be wearing my maxis all through autumn and winter, I just layer them up and I'm happy! Like you, I love a maxi dress with a casual denim jacket, it's such an easy look (wore it today, in fact!) You look great, Brett! xxxx

I love maxi dresses, skirts, coats...it's all great.

Love your dress, would have liked to see it with some different shoes shown too though, I'm not much of a "sneaker" fan, at any time, but that's just me. ;<) You look fab though.

And Joe has excellent taste!!! What a cutie.

I love maxi dresses but it so hard to find one that can fit me! Most maxi dresses are too long and I have to wear heels if I want to wear it!
Love your dress! Looks so comfy!

I really adore maxi dresses too. I was so excited to replace my black one this past week; it's such a staple in my wardrobe year ground. I love that you paired this gray one with the cropped jacket! I don't think I've ever tried my maxi with sneakers before, but those white Converse add a great sporty, casual touch to the outfit!

I only have 2 maxi dresses but the pattern on one is really too summery for winter. It would work during fall though. Thanks for the idea!

Fabulous outfit. Unfortunately Maxi dresses and maxi skirts don't suit me as I have no hips nor a bum. Such a pity. Looks ever so good on you.
Great combination with the sneakers (sorry tennis shoes) and the jacket.
