Are you ready?????
Awkward:
- Taking a nice hot shower when it is freezing cold and forgetting to have a towel ready when you get out.
- Having husband take pictures of me in a restaurant and store for a blog post.
- Discovering something gross is leaking out of the bottom of your car.
- As you are being bagged in the grocery line you suddenly remember an important item you forgot to pick up.
- Having a conversation with someone who is trying to explain something to you that you have absolutely no knowledge about.
- Finding out the leak from the car was probably caused because the person that changed your oil didn't screw the oil cap on correctly.
- Watching a couple register for wedding gifts at Target. I want one of those registry guns!!
- Glitter
- My new favorite show, Alaska:The Last Frontier.
- My first Skinny Peppermint Mocha of the season.
This outfit was actually inspired by a friend sending me a link to a page in the Land's End catalog.
She said the page immediately reminded her of me.
I took all the elements I liked from the page and made my own outfit.
Oddly enough, nothing I am wearing is from Land's End.

My teen students have begun to say AWESOME when something goes terribly wrong...I am finding that AWESOME is beginning to have a new meaning. They always teach me a lot about semantics...like how they took the word SUCKS from a bad word to an accepted word!! But, I still like to use AWESOME FOR the really great...like a skinny peppermint mocha and a great look like you are wearing here...you look AWESOME in a good way!!
Love that polka dot sweater, and the mix with the stripes.
I ALWAYS realise I have forgetten something at the grocery checkout! xxxx
I like this sweater, looks so sweet. The look with the scarf is very beautiful.
Hi Brett! This a favorite color combination of mine.. especially the polka dots! so cute:)
Bret, I love the plaid with the dot! I agree about holiday madness, it has set in already here in NY! You look wonderful and calm!

PS I don't mind at all who stares at me if I take photos or have somebody take photos of me in the street, in a building, whereever.
Ah I have been seeing so many polka dot shirts I love them! And this one looks great on you.
