Orchid

So they say Orchid is the new color for spring.
I decided to go ahead and try out the look now.
I present to you today...orchid pants.
Honestly, these pants are from the Loft 2 years ago,
so I doubt they were called orchid.
 Since I am closetremixing,
that's what I am going with though.
I think navy and orchid are brilliant colors together
and the pop of crisp white just adds to the look.
I went with the light colored booties because a darker color was just too harsh against these vibrant pants.
I went with necklace layering and pattern mixing with my watch.
I think I am going to like the color Orchid!

Have you worn the color Orchid yet?
Will you wear it for spring?

I actually thought about posting on this later in the week.

I really like how you paired this with Navy...very fresh.

I am not sure I will try it...you never know.

Closet Remix is my favorite game. :) Way to go pulling orchid pants out of the closet- 2 years before orchid was the color of the year! Fashion genie. :)

I love this combo. I don't have anything in orchid, I need to be on the look out.

I love the orchid color but it's one that honestly looks so terrible on me... just like mint! I'm hoping that spring also brings us some yellow this year.

This is great! I love that the windowpane sweater makes the pants look crisp and modern! So fun!

I think navy was the perfect choice, and I love the fact that you already had the pants in your closet! Good for you for remixing!

Isn't it funny how they come up with new names for the same colors year after year? Since I am not a color snob, I love all things colorful, including orchid pants :) The navy blue looks great too. Actually I am in love with this whole outfit!

Brett,
Just goes to show you that there is no better place to shop than your own closet!
Love the orchid pants, and the crisp grip pattern sweater. I agree about the boots, and think that necklace is the perfect choice to top it all of.

You look super cute in those 'orchid' pants. I've worn a pair of earrings in the shade but don't tend to do much with pinks/purples. I love how you styled this outfit.
Happy New Year!
