Fun With Color

Did you survive April Fool's Day yesterday?
I hope no one got fooled too badly.
Here is the look that inspired today's outfit.
I was able to pull from my closet
(the shoes were new, but didn't last long)
 and
re-create something pretty close to the original.
I added a statement necklace because
 as the day went on
 the weather got warmer
and the blazer bit the dust.
Aren't these little flats cute?
 Don't be deceived!
They are torture chambers and went right back to the store.
Even at 40% off they hurt to much to stick around my closet.

Are great fitting shoes a challenge for you?
Do you have a go to brand that is perfect every time?

That skirt is fabulous on you, and I love the color pairing! I feel the same way about shoes...if I find a comfy brand, I try to buy as many as I can!

I love how you worded that: "Even at 40% off they hurt to much to stick around my closet." It's so weird how we are willing to sacrifice pain if the deal is good enough... just some pairs of shoes need a REALLY AMAZING deal to make it worthwhile.

I just hate it when that happens with shoes. 75% of my shoes turn out like that : (

Beautiful outfit though.

I love this look! So 'put together' but colorful and fun too. I have a pair of Anne Klein silver flats I've worn to death (I also have them in gold and black) but don't want to replace them yet because I doubt I'll find something as comfortable. Oddly, price doesn't doesn't seem to be the determining factor of comfort that you'd think it would be.

Hahah, yes, I got those flats in gold and I have to put a band aid on my ankle to keep them from hurting me!
But they were too cute!

Love the printed pencil skirt and bright blazer together!
