I was blinded by the sequins

Yesterday morning as I was taking my picture of my "what I thought was a cute outfit"  I realized I was living in a delusional world.  A world where I look good in flesh tone colors, a world where Nicole Kidman and I could both get away with wearing that color.
What was I thinking?  I don't even like that color on HER!  I'll tell you what I was thinking, those sequins on that chili pepper are so cute and sparkly!
(Just between you and me, I have an obsession with sequins.  I don't know why or how it began, but the problem does exist.)
So while those cute little orangey/red sequins were catching my eye and twinkling up at me, I totally missed the fact that this was a flesh colored t-shirt.   I know better than to wear that color and yet, I have worn that shirt many times and obviously not even been aware of what color it was.
I owe my camera a big thanks for setting up an intervention with me and my flesh colored, adorable sequin chili pepper shirt.
I am sadly going to have to put it aside.  Maybe I can cut out the sequin chili pepper and put it up on my bulletin board or something.
So without further ado, here is my NOT so cute outfit of the day.......
Do not adjust the color on your computer screen
Yes, that shirt is the exact same color as my skin
I attempted to put more color near my face by buttoning my sweater, but yep, you guessed...No shimmering chili pepper anywhere in site.
See how cute and shiny it is
I love the look on my face here
You know the thought going through my head is ~ what the what!

Now I want to hear about your sad and strange fashion bloopers

Since you're ready to set it aside, what about dying it another color? I have no idea if it would work, but if it does you'd get your adorable shirt back. :)
