Night out with the girls is always a good thing

Last night a few friends and I got together before the big "holiday" season hits.  Next Thursday I might add is when it all starts!  Sooner for those of you with company coming in town or you are traveling elsewhere.
What a better way to kick it all off than a night out with girlfriends and destressing before you begin to stress all over again.


So, still a little traumatized by the whole flesh colored tshirt debacle yesterday I decided to go full out with the sequins!  Nothing is better than shiny, sparkly sequins to help you get over a fashion mistake.

Notice how I used the tank as an accent piece.  I wasn't trying to be dressy at all.  Everything else I have on is very casual and it gives the outfit a very relaxed, approachable feel.

I added the big jeweled bracelet you see peeking out of my sleeve for when I went out that night.  Just to dress up the outfit a little, but I think you could get away with wearing it during the day as well.

 

See how happy I am to be meeting my girl friends for good food, good margaritas and good conversation!

 PS... If my face looks a little pained, it is because I got my eyes checked that morning and they were still a bit dilated.  Hard to be in the light with dilated eyes, but I will endure whatever it takes for my faithful followers! :)
