11 in 2011:Favorite Workout Tip

First let me say I used to HATE to work out.  I would rather do anything ~ even math and for those who know me that is saying something!!

Then I found yoga!  I am not going to try to convert you or anything.  I just want to say that as a woman over 45 there is nothing better for your body than stretching, strengthening and balance.  These are all things we start to loose as we get older.

Maybe yoga is not your thing, but you can stretch, strengthen and practice balance in many different ways.

I think these are the 3 key elements to keep us in shape, moving and active as we grow older gracefully.

None of us want to end up like this.....

I agree. For me it's circus arts. But it's the same kind of thing. Lots of stretching and flexibility, balance, and strength. Really important for us women of a certain age. ha.

Oh I tried yoga last year and absolutely loved it! I wish I was either strict enough with myself to do it at home on my own, or could find an affordable class in my area - they all seem to be so expensive!!

I HATE working out too tho so it's always great to find an exercise you can actually enjoy. :)
