Caution! Falling Ice

Finally, on Thursday son2 went back to school.  It was a 2-hr delay, but he went back.
Son1 also finally began classes at college.  Funny thing is that they went skiing everyday he was not in school.  They could get to the slopes, but school was cancelled???  Hmmm

I spent most of the day catching up all the things I didn't do because of never ending snow days!

Growing up in Louisiana we rarely saw snow, so when we did get it, it was a very magical and special thing.  I guess that still stays with me to this day.  Snow Day... life goes on hold!, doesn't matter if that is a logical way of thinking or not.

Ventured out today, but almost got taken down several times by the sheets of falling, melting ice.

Ice was especially hazardous while I was taking pictures.  It was sliding off of the roof and trees at a rapid pace.

With snow still on the ground, I continued feel the need to wear the pink.

Attempting to stay warm as I venture out for some errand running.

I realized a bit later in the day that this shirt and sweater combo was not a good idea.  The sweater is pretty thin and the shirt is made of lace.  I just looked like a lumpy, bumpy mess pretty much the entire day.
Ever had one of those days when you cringe as you pass a mirror or reflective window?
Oh, well, who knew...another fashion lesson under my belt.

Brett--the palette of your outfit is gorgeous! I am jealous of the bright sunshine you are having against all that snow. And, yes, I have had days that I pass a mirror and think, 'what was I thinking'!

Hey - some are winners and some not so much. But that's the fun of stretching your fashion-muscle.

It looked good from here!

I think you look just fine. No lumpy bumpy anything.

I can see myself as ok in one reflection and then seconds later I see myself in another reflection and I'm horrified. haha.

xo,
Tracy
