Blogger Darling of the Day

Hey there!
I am jetting out to CMA Music Fest today and I hope to blog at least once while there.  In the meantime, meet our Blogger Darling of the Day...

Peggy loves the Lord, her husband and her 3 children. She is a wife, mother, teacher to her kids, part-time employee, sports mom, Bible class teacher and preacher's wife. She has been blogging since 2007, when she became fascinated with how much stuff you could get for so little money couponing! Then she realized the items she could get with coupons really weren't the healthy whole foods she wanted to be eating.

That is when she started blogging a bit more about health and nutrition. Then in 2009, she accepted a long-term assignment at work and it kept her working full-time for several months.  She was so busy she blogged only 10 entries for the entire year!

Then.......in 2010, she Googled something about Anthropologie and stumbled upon Anthroholic, there she discovered Fashion Blogging! She became fascinated because she has always loved clothes, fashion, shopping and bargain hunting, and here, there was a whole community of women who felt the same way! No one in her real life really liked talking about clothing, or brands or deals, so she was thrilled to find some "kindred spirits" online!

Peggy posted her first OOTD photo on Jan. 27th, 2010 and the rest is history! She would love to write more substantive things on her blog, but for now, she is so busy raising and homeschooling her children, her OOTD posts are the most she has time for at this point. Peggy loves the community and friends she has found via the fashion blogging phenomenon!

1. Favorite color of socks to wear?

I don't wear socks!

2. What reality tv show would you want to be on?

"The Apprentice"! I would love to try my hand at multi-tasking on this show.

3. What is your favorite daily thing to wear?

I wear a ring I bought from a street artist in San Francisco- it's a sterling silver 3 banded ring that symbolizes my 3 children!

4. Who do you think is the best dressed man in Hollywood?

Will Smith always looks great and he seems like a nice guy too!

5. Who do you think is the worst dressed woman in Hollywood?

Without a doubt, Allison Sweeney on the Biggest Loser. I gripe about it all season when we watch the show --she really needs a new stylist. Anthro or Jcrew should jump in on that one stat!

6. How do you organize your closet? color, type of clothing etc.

I organize by item (skirt, shirt, dress) then by color or pattern (stripes together, florals together, etc.)

7. If you could dress like any tv character, who would it be?

It's more a movie character - Jennifer Lopez character, Mary Fiore, in The Wedding Planner. I swoon over all her outfits and classic, sophisticated looks from business suits to heels to casual dresses. I love all her elegant hairstyles as well. Makes me want to move to NYC and become a socialite wedding planner!

8. What is your favorite accessories excluding shoes?

A scarf and a necklace!!

9. Is there any outfit that you have EVER worn that still haunts you to this day?

Not really one outfit, but I can say that it has certainly helped me to blog and take a look back and see myself and how I put things together and learn from past outfits.

10. What celebrity/fashion icon would you want to take with you on a shopping spree?

Ines De La Fressange, the author of Parisian Chic! I would love to have her go shopping with me and line out all the classic basics I would need to build a forever wardrobe!

Hope enjoyed getting to know a little bit about Peggy and that you will pop over to her blog,
and check more about her.
