So here is my attempt at color blocking for today...
- 1st job interview in 20 years. I was totally nervous and I am sure awkward. (no, haven't heard if I got the job yet)
- Son1 packing up his car to head back to school. The weird argument that ensued over whether he had room for an ice chest of food or not.
- Trying to decide whether or not to cut my hair short, mid-length or keep it long. ( as you can see my hair stylist talked me into mid-length, a think it was a wise choice)
- Not one of the 3 male humans in my home noticed that I got 4 inches cut off of my hair!
- Son2 deciding he is going to stay up for 24 hours to get into a regular sleeping pattern. ( yea, where did that idea come from??) He was so punchy it was like he was a 5 year old kid again
- Getting son2's senior pictures back. Remember when I told you about the ugly shirt debacle? Well, those pictures actually turned out really good. GO Figure...
- Spur of the moment dinner with a friend. Thanks for thinking of me CT.
- Pinterest...no need to say more
- The nice mild weather we have been having here. I know it won't last, but it sure is nice.
- Getting my dining room back. This has been son1's temporary storage unit for everything he was planning on taking back to school.
For my color blocking attempt, I decided on purple and red.
These are my red pants that I dyed myself.
What I hadn't thought about is that every time I wash these pants they become lighter in color.
I might have to re-dye them and darken them back up.
I added the green shoes for a little more color and fun.
Not the most original look, but it fulfils the challenge!

Love the hair! Looks like a great length! The males around here never notice anything! I moved the mirror from one wall to the other in my bedroom on Sunday and my husband said, "Hey, you found that mirror you were looking for!" (Yeah, that mirror that's been in our bedroom since March!)
