After-Christmas Mode

Are you in the after-Christmas mode like I am?

You know that nice little place where you just want to shop, watch movies, think, but only think about taking down Christmas decorations and wonder how you will take of the Christmas pounds, but not really worry about it yet!

I love after-Christmas mode, but sadly it doesn't last very long, so I will hold on and enjoy it this last day!
I wore this Christmas Eve.
I love the detailing on these pants.
And the little buttons going down the back are a favorite design element of mine as well.
I just dressed simply and without much muss and fuss for the day.
After all when we came home from Christmas Eve services
I knew we would all put on our new sweats
and stay in them all night and the next day!
Which is exactly what we all did.
Thank goodness Mrs. Clause always provides new sweats for us every year!

Do you always get new sweats or pajamas for Christmas?
If not, what is one gift you know you will ALWAYS receive every year?

Love the buttons going down the back of that shirt! The necklace is awesome too! I've gained like 7 lbs this month...not cool, gotta work that off!

I'm TRYING to enjoy after Christmas mode, but it's hard because I'm so type A. I always have to be on the go. But I managed to sit on the couch all afternoon yesterday and watch a movie. I felt like a slob, but it was fun nevertheless!

Your sweater is so cute, especially with the buttons in the back...and those pants fit you perfectly! Luuuuv it.

I LOLed at your comment. Which one is Son1? You know me well. I excel at whipping the young laddies into shape!

If this is a lounging around look, you would be appalled at what I lounge in!! I have had difficulty all week getting out of sweats and PJS...but you look ready to go out!! Cute look!

I LOVE those pants. I'm such a sucker for a wide leg pant. And you have a great looking family. I'm a new follower. Stop by my blog some time and say hi!

I like having some time to relax between the holidays, even though I know January will be crazy busy.

Love your statement necklace!
and I love being able to lounge around after christmas.

I think the chocolate orange is the only gift I'm guaranteed every year.

I definitely feel like I'm not going to get a thing done until January. Oh well? January is pretty soon. I really like the buttons down the back of your sweater... wonder if it would look as good if I flipped a cardigan around. A statement necklace is the perfect thing to jazz up an outfit a little bit.

Lately I've been guaranteed some kind of jewelry every year. Added a rose gold necklace from Anthro this year!
