Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Just a shout out to Sydney the creator of Awkward and Awesome Thursdays.
Check out her blog The Daybook, HERE.
Awkward:
  • Driving through my neighborhood at 7am and seeing a dude walking down the street dressed up as a member of  The Blue Man Group.  Seriously...full blue make-up and all.
  • Sitting in one of those outdoor chairs at a restaurant with the holes in the seat and the buttons on my back pocket kept getting caught in the hole.  Finally ended up sitting on a napkin.
  • Son2 having a major nose bleed at the mall.  His comment: I could have murdered someone and no one would have even cared.  He said he was walking through mall covered in blood and not one person ever said anything to him.
  • Spilling steaming hot cup of tea in my lap.
  • Husband strikes again, this time the phone call was that he dropped his phone and was heading to the airport.  Could I bring him my old 3G iPhone.
Awesome:
  • Rolls Royce in the carpool line at son2's high school.
  • Mad Men viewing party.  Thanks for creating a fun night Carol!
  • I just got the Mally Poreless Face Defender this week.  This product is fabulous!  You can read more about it here.
  • Fun dinner catching up with friends from our old neighborhood.
  • Spring Break Baby! Headed to the Outer Banks...
I wore this outfit on Monday.
Sorry for the sad indoor pictures.
I brightened up the army green jacket and pants with bright pink.  The scarf adds even more bright color to what could potentially be a drab look.

Can't wait to hear about your awkward or awesome moment this week!

Have fun at the Outer Banks. Such a great fun place to hang out. Will it be hot there right now? Clueless about the Spring weather patterns there.

You look extremely cute in this outfit darling.

Love the outfit and love this series. Totally chuckling over the Blue Man dude. I saw a full costumed Santa around Christmas, he was walking down the street while i was driving Logan to school. I started waving like a 5 year old... I still get excited when I see Santa! xo

Actually I think #1 on the awkward list could actually be awesome. Probably a bit of both :) Have fun at the Outer Banks! My family goes every summer, I go when I can.

First of all - MAD MEN!! I am so in love. For years now. Waiting for them to come back has nearly killed me . . . okay, not really, but I really did miss them.

Your son and the nosebleed both made me laugh and was appalling. Isn't it true? No one will say something when they see something. Sad!
